Online Resources:

Online information and downloadable resources. Most all of the downloadable resources are free or nearly free (you may find some shareware software here that may cost a small donation to the people who wrote them). This page is updated as I come across info I think is worth it. If there is something you are looking for and can't find it, contact us and we will try to help.

Webopedia - is a free online dictionary for words, phrases and abbreviations that are related to computer and Internet technology. Webopedia provides easy-to-understand definitions in plain language, avoiding the use of heavy jargon when possible so that the site is accessible to users with a wide range of computer knowledge.

- The most relevant Internet Broadband Speed Test site with results that are easy read and understand.

Virus & E-mail Hoaxes - Virus hoaxes are uncovered on a regular basis. Hoaxes usually arrive in the form of an email. They contain bogus warnings usually intent only on frightening or misleading users. The best course of action is to merely delete these hoax emails. Please refer to this page whenever you receive what appears to be a bogus message regarding a new virus, or promotion that sounds too good to be true...

- Search Microsoft's Knowledge Base for information about your product including troubleshooting steps, solutions to common issues, how-to's, and latest downloads.

Events and Errors Message Center
-    Find detailed message explanations, recommended user actions, and links to additional support and resources for Event Viewer Error Messages. These values can be found in the Event Viewer logs.

Popup Manager: Pop-up Manager is an intelligent pop-up blocker that allows the pop-ups you want and blocks those you don't. Pop-up Manager places a small window in the corner of each Internet Explorer window. If the window is green, no pop-ups have been blocked on the current page. If the window is red, pop-ups have been blocked. Hovering over the red window shows the user the list of E icons that represent the blocked pop-ups; hovering over an icon allows the user to see the title and URL of the blocked pop-up; and clicking the E allows the pop-up to open.
